For some reason, zoos have always been kind of an obsession for me. I have now visited around 100 zoos and aquaria around the world, in Europe, Canada, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand and Mauritius.
The main targets of my visits are the species that are rarely seen in captivity (e.g., they do not need to be rare in the wild, although it is usually the case).
Also of interest are the unusual exhibits, especially bioregional exhibits.
